  4. ===DESCRIPTION / FEATURES / LIMITATIONS===
  5. This is a prototype program, not yet fully developed. A lot of features still
  6. could be added, but it serves its main purpose quite well. It's not buggy (!).
  7. It does what it pretends to do: it removes redundant trailing spaces from input
  8. files by writing to a different output file. Just plain DOS files, no use of
  9. standard input/output (yet). No actions on input file only (yet). Maximum line
  10. length upto more than 23000 bytes, though. Source contains many commented
  11. experimental lines. Extended subroutine for reading and interpreting DOS
  12. command line, incl. quoted arguments (not necessary here). No checks on files.
  13. Though theoretically possible practical problems with longer lines have been
  14. experienced using QBASIC 4.5; the algorithm (except for the command line
  15. argument routine) has been developed and tested with GWBASIC originally and
  16. found to work well with unlimited line lengths. For the moment no further
  17. development is expected as there are more functionally similar programs.
